Sources & a little more detail
This is an original, simplified exploration guide. The supplied career guide informed the broad stream structure. Its scan is branded NcertGuide.com; official NCERT authorship has not been established. No NCERT endorsement is claimed.
Subject examples are checked against official curriculum resources. Specific combinations, recognised programmes, fees and eligibility must be confirmed with your board, school or institution. Illustrative career examples do not promise admission or employment.

What you’ll explore here
- Separate your own interests from other people’s expectations.
- Compare what attracts you to different options, using real examples.
- Write down what you know, what you assume and what you still need to ask.

What you’ll explore here

- Understand what the quiz and reflection can—and cannot—tell you.
- Identify which details need checking with a school, institution or coach.

FAQs · QUESTIONS FROM STUDENTS & PARENTS
Glad
you asked.
Curiosity looks good on you.
Do I need to know my career already?
No. Class IX–X is a good time to notice interests and explore possibilities. “Not sure yet” is a useful starting point.
Will the check-in tell me which stream to choose?
It will summarise your reflections and exploration so far. It does not measure aptitude or choose a stream. Use it to start a more informed conversation.
Is a smaller score bad?
No. Reflection progress counts questions you answered, not ability. Exploration status separately shows what you say you have investigated so far. Neither is a grade or a prediction of your future.
Must I complete these sections in order?
No. Explore any section or try the check-in anytime. Nothing is locked. Discuss your notes with your parents first, then your teachers. If questions remain, contact Coach Neeraj.
What if my school does not offer a subject?
Check the actual combinations available locally, costs, travel and recognised alternatives with your teachers or school. If you still need help comparing options, discuss the remaining questions with Coach Neeraj. A pathway on a website is a possibility to investigate, not a guarantee.
Can my parent join the conversation?
You can invite a parent or trusted adult to help explore options. Your interests and questions should stay at the centre of the conversation.
TWO SMALL ACTIVITIES · TWO DIFFERENT PURPOSES
First, check a connection.
Then, listen to yourself.
You can try either activity. You do not need to get every match right or know all your answers.
THE SUBJECT MIX LAB · PLAY, CHECK, DISCOVER
Unexpected subjects.
Interesting possibilities.
Can you connect two subject areas to a kind of work? Match the career block to the specific task on each card.
Keyboard: focus a career and press Enter, then focus a matching box and press Enter. Blocks can be used more than once. Your first check on each card earns 1 for a correct match, 0 for an incorrect match; unanswered cards stay open. Feedback and retries help you learn.
New to these careers? Meet the five possibilities first +
- Medical illustration: communicate scientific and medical information through accurate visuals.
- Actuarial risk analysis: use mathematics and financial reasoning to examine uncertainty.
- Digital mapping / GIS: work with geographic information and digital maps.
- Human–computer interaction: investigate how people use technology and improve that experience.
- Data visualisation: communicate numerical patterns through charts and visual explanations.
Create accurate pictures of body systems to help people understand medical information.
Use location data and software to map flood-prone areas and support local planning.
Use probability and financial reasoning to estimate uncertain insurance costs.
Study how people use an app and test ways to make its interface easier to understand.
Turn a numerical dataset into a clear chart that helps people see a pattern.
No timer. Make a connection, then check what you understand.
YOUR LEARNING TAKEAWAY
Explore subjects and pathways ↗These are illustrative connections, not the only valid combinations. School subject groupings vary. A subject pair alone does not establish course eligibility or qualification for a job. Confirm requirements for the institution and role you explore.
Where these work examples come from +
Role descriptions informed these original learning scenarios. International occupational sources describe work, not Indian admission requirements.
